REAL-PERSON AI PERSONA

Create an AI version inspired by someone you know.

Describe the relationship, not just the person

The same person communicates differently with a friend, partner, sibling, or colleague. Add the relationship context, shared vocabulary, and the moments that matter to this specific persona.

Permission is part of the build

For a living person, obtain explicit permission for the source material, purpose, audience, and use of their likeness. Permission must be revocable rather than treated as a one-time checkbox.

Choose what the AI should not infer

Set boundaries for sensitive topics, private third parties, medical or financial claims, and situations where the persona should acknowledge uncertainty instead of inventing an answer.

Make the representation recognizably artificial

A human-style avatar can make the interface personal, but it should not be used to deceive. ExChat keeps real-person personas private and visibly labeled as AI.
