Confirm rights and permission
A file on your device can still contain another person's private information. Use only material you are authorized to process and obtain explicit permission before creating a realistic persona of someone living.
Remove unrelated and sensitive content
Delete group-chat sections, third-party names, addresses, account numbers, health details, intimate material, and attachments the persona does not need. Data minimization is safer than uploading everything.
Keep enough context to interpret the messages
Preserve speaker labels and useful dates, then add a short explanation of the relationship and time period. Review the extracted traits and memories before the first AI conversation.
